SHIPPING POLICY
Skarda Land LLC, doing business as Skarda Maple Farms, ships from Denmark, Wisconsin. This policy covers how we get your order to you, whether by carrier or by local pickup.
WHERE WE SHIP
We ship anywhere in the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and U.S. territories, by USPS. We do not ship outside the United States at this time.
SHIPPING COSTS
Shipping is calculated at checkout by USPS based on the weight of your order and the destination. You will see the exact cost before you pay.
Orders of $100 or more ship free.
Local pickup is always free.
PROCESSING TIME
Orders ship within 2 business days. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday ship the next business day. During maple season (late February to early April) we are boiling most days and may take an extra day; we will tell you if that happens.
You will receive an email with tracking when your order ships.
DELIVERY TIME
USPS Ground Advantage typically delivers in 2 to 5 business days within the Midwest and 3 to 7 business days elsewhere in the United States. Priority Mail typically delivers in 1 to 3 business days. These are carrier estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for carrier delays, weather, or delivery problems caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.
HOW WE PACK
Our syrup ships in glass. Every bottle is wrapped and boxed to survive the trip, and the gallon jug is plastic. In summer, syrup travels fine; it is shelf stable until opened. In deep winter, syrup may thicken in transit. Let it come to room temperature before pouring; it is not harmed by the cold.
DAMAGED OR LOST PACKAGES
If your order arrives damaged, email SkardaMapleFarms@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the damage and the packaging. We will send a replacement or refund you; you do not need to send anything back.
If tracking shows delivered and you cannot find the package, check with neighbors and your local post office first, then contact us within 7 days of the delivery date. If tracking shows no movement for 10 business days after shipping, contact us and we will file a claim with USPS and send a replacement.
ADDRESS CHANGES
Check your address carefully at checkout. If you notice a mistake, email us right away; we can correct it if the order has not shipped. Once the package is with USPS, we cannot redirect it. Packages returned to us as undeliverable can be reshipped at your cost, or refunded less the original shipping charge.

We will text or email when your order is ready, usually within a day or two, and arrange a time. You can pay online when you order or pay by cash or check when you pick up.
Pickup orders are held for 14 days after we notify you they are ready. If an order is not collected within 14 days, we may cancel it and refund any amount paid.
WHOLESALE ORDERS
Wholesale orders are delivered free on our route through northeast and south central Wisconsin. Delivery timing is arranged with each account. See our Wholesale page or contact us for details.
